The Investors Bank Performing Arts Center is a 2,400-seat theater in Washington Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey. Built in 1998, it was designed as the high school auditorium for Washington Township High School but was made large enough to host big productions. It opened on September 1, 1998 with Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I.

Over the years the venue has had several sponsor names: TD Bank Arts Center, Commerce Bank Arts Centre, Investors Bank Performing Arts Center, and today it is known as the Republic Bank Performing Arts Center.

In 1999, Chesapeake Concerts Inc. ended its contract after the death of its CEO. In 2000, Rebecca Marie Keith was hired as the center’s manager and grant writer to help bring in funding and schedule shows.

In 2004, Commerce Bank announced a five-year, $300,000 investment and renamed the center the Commerce Bank Arts Centre. The package included a $55,000 check, three arts scholarships per year, a summer theater program, upgrades to lighting and sound, and co-sponsored events at the center.

In 2015 the name changed to the Investors Bank Performing Arts Center, and it is now called the Republic Bank Performing Arts Center. The performance crews are provided by IATSE Local 8.
