Hiroshi Suzuki (silversmith)
Hiroshi Suzuki (born 1961 in Sendai, Japan) is a silversmith based in London. His silver work blends Eastern aesthetics with Western silversmithing traditions. He grew up in a family of makers—his father was a goldsmith, and his grandfather was a potter and a calligrapher. Suzuki earned an MA at Musashino Art University in Tokyo, moved to London in 1993, studied at Camberwell College of Art in 1994, and later attended the Royal College of Art. His pieces are in public collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. He is represented by Adrian Sassoon, a London-based dealer, and has shown at international fairs such as Pavilion of Art and Design in London and Design Miami.
