Hemijana subrosea

Hemijana subrosea is a moth in the Eupterotidae family. It was described by Per Olof Christopher Aurivillius in 1893. The species is found in Angola and South Africa.

The wingspan is about 60 mm. The forewings are cinnamon gray with a touch of salmon. They show three small dots and three small, scalloped, dark-gray lines after the middle of the wing. The edge of the forewing and the area just before it are stained salmon red. The hindwings are bright salmon red.

Synonyms include Jana subrosea (Aurivillius, 1893); Hemijana ruberrima Rothschild, 1917; and Hemijana subrosea f. disticta Berio, 1937.
