Hafei Zhongyi
The Hafei Zhongyi is a small cab-over microvan built by Hafei Motor with design help from the Italian firm Pininfarina. It was produced from 1999 to 2015 and available as a cab-forward van or a cab-forward pickup. It uses 1.0-liter or 1.3-liter inline‑4 engines with a five-speed manual transmission. It is related to the Hafei Ruiyi and the Mitsubishi Minicab U40.
In markets outside China, the Zhongyi had several names and partners. In Brazil and Uruguay it was sold as Effa Zhongyi. The car debuted at the 1999 Beijing Motor Show. In December 2007 it was launched in Chile together with the Ruiyi and Lobo. In the United States, MAG International sold it as the C‑MAG. In Chile, microvans are popular and are sometimes called pan de molde (sliced bread).
