Gymnastics at the Pan American Games – Women's balance beam

The women's balance beam event at the Pan American Games began in 1959. Three medals are awarded: gold for first, silver for second, and bronze for third. Tie-breaks were not used every year. If two gymnasts tie for first, both are listed as first and there is no silver; the second place is left empty, and bronze goes to the next highest-ranked competitor. If two gymnasts tie for second, both are listed as second and there is no bronze; the third place is left empty. If three gymnasts tie for a position, the next two places are left empty.
