Francesco Tahiraj
Francesco Tahiraj (Françesko Tahiraj) (born 21 September 1996) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Partizani B in the Albanian Kategoria e Tretë. He was born in Turin, Italy, and is 1.72 m tall.
Tahiraj began his youth career at CBS Milan in Turin and was noticed by Gianluca Pessotto, which led him to join Juventus’ academy in 2006. He stayed with Juventus until 2014, with a loan to Carpi in 2013–2014 and a move to Torino in 2014. In 2015, he signed with Slovenian club NK Zavrč and started his professional career there, making his Slovenian PrvaLiga debut in August 2015.
His later clubs included Aluminij (2016–2019), Hajduk Split (2019–2020), Lokomotiva (2020–2022), and Radomlje (2022–2024). In 2024 he joined Partizani B.
Internationally, Tahiraj represented Albania at youth level. He played for the Albania U17 team in 2012, scoring in his debut against Liechtenstein, and he was called up to the Albania U19 team in 2014, where he earned a couple of caps and scored.
