Forever is a country song written by Jimmy Fortune and recorded by The Statler Brothers. It was released in November 1986 as the third single from their album Four for the Show. The track is 2 minutes and 57 seconds long, produced by Jerry Kennedy for Mercury Nashville. The B-side of the single is "More Like Daddy Than Me." Forever reached number 7 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. It followed the single "Only You" (1986) and preceded "I'll Be the One" (1987).
