Family Style is the only studio album by the Vaughan Brothers, Jimmie Vaughan and Stevie Ray Vaughan. It was released on September 25, 1990. The album was recorded in 1990 at Ardent Studios in Memphis, The Dallas Sound Lab in Dallas, and Skyline Studios in New York City. It features rock and blues rock and runs 40 minutes and 47 seconds. Epic Records released it, with Nile Rodgers as producer.

The project fulfilled Stevie Ray Vaughan’s wish to make an album with his older brother, and it became his last studio release, coming out about a month after his death. The liner notes say, “Thanks Mama V. for letting us play.”

Critics gave mixed reviews. Some praised the brothers’ songwriting and standout tracks like D/FW, Tick Tock, and Telephone Song. Others felt the album didn’t fully show their personal styles and strayed from traditional blues. The album reached number seven on the Billboard 200 chart.
