Eupleura pectinata
Eupleura pectinata is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex or rock snails. It belongs to the following classification: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Mollusca; Class Gastropoda; Subclass Caenogastropoda; Order Neogastropoda; Family Muricidae; Genus Eupleura; Species E. pectinata. The binomial name is Eupleura pectinata, described by Hinds in 1844. It has also been called Ranella pectinata.
