Elk Hill is a historic house and farm near Nellysford in Nelson County, Virginia. The 173-acre property sits along parts of the South Fork of the Rockfish River and Reid’s Creek. The main house is a two-story frame building with a central hall, and the oldest portions were built between 1790 and 1810, though the exact construction date isn’t certain.

The property was owned by Samuel Reid, who sold it in 1805 to Hawes Coleman; the Coleman family kept it until 1977. A major remodeling in 1902 gave the house a neoclassical look. The farm shows the area’s crop history, from tobacco in the 18th and 19th centuries to apples in the early 20th century. In the late 20th century, the current owner started a vineyard and winery on part of the land, including land once part of High View Farm from the 1830s. In 2005 a conservation easement was placed with the Virginia Outdoors Foundation to protect the natural habitat and rural character.

Historic outbuildings include a late 18th-century smokehouse, a tobacco barn from about 1790–1810, a 19th-century chicken house, a two-seat outhouse, and a double crib barn; garages built in 1902 and 1955; and a stone boundary/retaining wall from the late 18th century.

Elk Hill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007 and is also on the Virginia Landmarks Register.
