Diffa Department

Diffa Department is in the Diffa Region in southeast Niger. It borders Chad to the east. Its capital is the city of Diffa. The department covers about 2,071 square miles (5,365 square kilometers) and had around 160,000 residents in 2012. The time zone is UTC+1.
