Día naranja
Día naranja (Orange Day) is a 2009 co-produced film from Venezuela, Colombia and Argentina directed by Alejandra Szeplaki. It stars Carolina Riveros, Bernarda Pagés and Martina García. The story follows three women—Ana in Buenos Aires, Sol in Bogotá, and Patricia in Caracas—as they spend a day wondering whether to take a pregnancy test. The movie is in Spanish. It was released in Venezuela on 9 October 2009 and premiered in Argentina on 22 September 2011. It was preselected for the Academy Awards. A reviewer, Isabel González, called it “pink, very pink.” In 2015 it was shown at the Museo de Arte Valencia for International Women’s Day and at the Festival de Cine Venezolano.
