Cricket West Indies (CWI) is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies, a group of Caribbean countries that share a common cricket team. It began in the 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control, later became the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), and was renamed Cricket West Indies in 2017. CWI has been a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1926.

Based in St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, CWI is led by President Kishore Shallow (since 2023) and Chief Executive Officer Chris Dehring, with Azim Bassarath as vice president. The men’s team is coached by Andre Coley, with Daren Sammy, and the women’s team is coached by Shane Deitz.

CWI runs the West Indies men’s and women’s teams, coordinates tours, and organizes domestic cricket. Major competitions include the Regional Four Day Competition (first-class), the Regional Super50 (List A), and the Caribbean Premier League (T20). Women play in the Women’s Super50 Cup and the Twenty20 Blaze. There are also youth and development events like the TCL Under-19 Challenge and the CLICO Under-15 competition.

CWI is made up of six territorial associations from Caribbean countries and dependencies. Each association provides directors, and some boards are multinational. The Caribbean Premier League, launched in 2013, is the region’s professional Twenty20 league, replacing earlier leagues linked to the Stanford 20/20.

Since 2005, the West Indies Women’s Cricket Federation has been part of CWI, with President Carol Whilby-Maxwell and Secretary Michael Seepersaud. CWI also supports cricket development in the Americas as part of the ICC development program.
