Combaya Municipality is the fifth municipal section of Larecaja Province in the La Paz Department, Bolivia. Its seat is the town of Combaya. The municipality covers about 98 square kilometers (38 square miles) and sits at an elevation of about 3,500 meters (11,500 feet). It is located at coordinates 15°46′42″S 68°46′18″W. The population was 2,691 in 2001. The main languages spoken are Aymara and Spanish. The time zone is BOT (UTC-4).
