Chris (Simpsons artist) is a pseudonymous cartoonist known for funny, simple, childlike drawings and free‑flow writing. He was born in England and grew up there before moving to Scotland. He says he first started drawing Simpsons characters at age five, around when the show began. He still caricatures The Simpsons cast and signs each comment with “(Simpsons artist).” He also mocks real people who are in the news, such as Prince William and Kate Middleton around their wedding.

In May 2011 he caused some controversy with a caricature of Osama bin Laden. Because of his devoted following, he has appeared in magazines like FHM and Front. FHM described him as “the Internet’s Picasso,” living somewhere in Scotland, with no one knowing his real name, making slightly unnerving pictures of famous people. Front, in 2011, praised his work as “so-bad-they’re-actually-bloody-amazingly-good illustrations.” In May 2012, a selection of his artwork was shown at the IG:LU gallery in Inverness.
