Charlie Walker-Blair

Charlie Walker-Blair (born 24 April 1988) is an English rugby union player who plays as a flanker for Sale Sharks. He was born in Kent, England, and is 1.92 m tall and weighs 104 kg. He attended West Somerset Community College.

He started playing rugby at 15, turning out for Taunton and Minehead Barbarians as a winger. At 17 he moved to New Zealand to play for East Coast, then returned to England to play for Carterton. His senior career began with Exeter Chiefs (2008–2012). He was also dual-registered with the Cornish Pirates (2011–2012). In 2012 he played for Taunton, then Jersey in 2013 before signing with Sale Sharks in April 2013.

Walker-Blair has battled an anterior cruciate ligament injury during his career, including a re-rupture that required another operation.
