Castle Newnham School
Castle Newnham School is a coeducational all‑through school in Bedford, Bedfordshire, England, with two campuses on Goldington Road and Polhill Avenue. It serves pupils aged 3 to 16 and had about 684 students in January 2023. The school was formed in January 2016 by merging Castle Lower School and Newnham Middle School, and its age range has since been extended to 16. Hazeldene Lower School (Stancliffe Road) has a soft federation with Castle Newnham, so some pupils from Hazeldene go on to Castle Newnham. The school is a foundation school administered by Bedford Borough Council and is part of the Newnham Castle Hazeldene Federation. It offers GCSEs as part of its programmes of study. The Federation Principal is Ruth Wilkes and the Primary Headteacher is J Balmbra.
