CD Benicarló
Benicarló, officially Club Deportivo Benicarló, is a Spanish football club from Benicarló in the Valencian Community. It was founded in 1921. They play in Primera FFCV – Group 1 and host home games at Estadio Ángel "Pichi" Alonso, which has a capacity of about 2,000. The club is run by a board called Junta Gestora, and the head coach is Juan Antonio Morilla. In the 2024–25 season they finished 5th of 16 in their group.
History: Benicarló first reached the Tercera División in 1965 and stayed there for five seasons before being relegated. They moved between Tercera and the Regional Preferente for many years. In 2010 they were relegated to Primera Regional. In 2012 they merged with nearby CF Sporting Benicarló and kept their Preferente place. They returned to the Tercera División in 2020 after 29 years away, but were relegated again. They have spent 16 seasons in the Tercera División.
