Broadview Press is a Canadian independent publisher that focuses on the humanities. It was founded in 1985 by Don LePan and now has over 30 staff, more than 800 titles in print, and about 35 new titles published each year. The company has offices in Calgary, Peterborough, Nanaimo, Guelph and Wolfville. It distributes books through self-distribution in North America, with Eurospan Group handling Europe, Asia, Africa and South America, and Footprint Books serving Australia.

Broadview publishes scholarly editions, anthologies, and other academic works. Its Broadview Editions series offers newly edited texts with introductions, annotations, and primary-source materials to show the context in which a work came about. The Broadview Anthology of British Literature is widely used in courses, and The Broadview Anthology of Poetry and The Broadview Reader are also notable titles. The imprint Freehand Books, started in 2008 to publish Canadian writing, became independent in 2016 and was sold to Glenn Rollans in 2021.

In 2008, Broadview sold its social science and history lists to the University of Toronto Press, refocusing on English studies and philosophy. Leadership changes include Leslie Dema becoming President in 2013, followed by Stephen Latta in 2023, with Marjorie Mather as Vice President (Editorial and Production) and Christine Handley as Vice President (Sales and Distribution).

Broadview Press Ltd. was incorporated on September 25, 1985, and today operates as Broadview Press Inc. It is a private company governed by a Board of Directors with over two dozen shareholders. Broadview is known for its high-quality editions and strong academic list in literature and philosophy.
