Blood (South Korean TV series)
Blood is a 2015 South Korean medical drama with vampire and romance elements. It follows Park Ji-sang, played by Ahn Jae-hyun, a top doctor who specializes in hepatobiliary surgery at a leading cancer hospital and is secretly a vampire. He hides his thirst for blood to save patients and longs for real human connection.
Ji-sang falls for Yoo Ri-ta, a brilliant but aloof doctor (Koo Hye-sun) who is also the hospital chairman’s niece. He is drawn into a clash with hospital director Lee Jae-wook (Ji Jin-hee), who seems gentle on the surface but secretly craves power and can be cruel.
The cast also includes Son Soo-hyun. Blood aired on KBS2 from February 16 to April 21, 2015, with 20 episodes, broadcast Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00. The opening theme is the song "Blood," and the show features a diverse soundtrack.
