Asmar Bilal is an American football linebacker born on April 12, 1997, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. He played high school football at Ben Davis High School, where he earned 6A All-State honors, helped win a state championship, and recorded 155 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and an interception as a senior. Bilal played college football at Notre Dame from 2015 to 2019, finishing with 174 tackles over 45 games and recording 79 tackles with 10 for loss as a senior. In 2019, he received Pro Football Focus All-American honorable mention.

Bilal went undrafted in 2020 but signed with the Los Angeles Chargers. He was waived at final roster cuts, then joined the Chargers’ practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster on September 15, 2020, after an injury to Drue Tranquill. Bilal was placed on injured reserve on September 26, 2020, activated on December 5, and waived on December 12. On January 27, 2021, he signed with the Las Vegas Raiders on a reserve/future contract. He was waived on August 31, 2021, re-signed to the Raiders’ practice squad on December 29, 2021, and released on January 11, 2022.
