Andre Levett Robertson (born October 2, 1957, in Orange, Texas) is a former American baseball player who played five seasons in Major League Baseball as a second baseman and shortstop for the New York Yankees from 1981 to 1985. He batted and threw right-handed. Robertson debuted on September 3, 1981, and played his last game on October 6, 1985. He finished with a .251 batting average, 182 hits, and 80 runs.
Drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the fourth round of the 1979 amateur draft, he began his pro career with the Dunedin Blue Jays (Class A-Advanced) and Syracuse Chiefs (Triple-A) in 1979, and later played for the Texas Rangers’ Triple-A Oklahoma City 89ers in 1989. Robertson was once a highly regarded Yankees prospect, but a 1983 car accident left him with a broken neck and other injuries, and he never fully regained his previous form.
