Akademikerne – The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC)
Akademikerne is a Danish national trade union center founded in 1972 and based in Copenhagen. It brings together 25 member unions and represents about 480,000 educated professionals with master’s or postgraduate degrees. Members include lawyers, librarians, psychologists, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists, teachers, and medical doctors. Akademikerne collaborates with FH, the other Danish trade union center. It is affiliated with ITUC, ETUC, TUAC, and NFS. The president is Lisbeth Lintz. Website: ac.dk.
