Abiquo Hybrid Cloud Platform (Enterprise Edition) is a web-based tool that helps organizations build, connect, and manage public and private clouds in one place. Built in Java and running on Linux, it lets you deploy and manage servers, storage, networks, and virtual devices, with LDAP support for user authentication. It supports five hypervisors and, from version 3.1 onward, can manage resources across multiple public cloud providers. Newer releases added autoscaling, integration with software-defined networking (VMware NSX and OpenStack Neutron), cloud-init guest configuration, and built-in monitoring to automate tasks. It works with many storage vendors and supports tiered storage pools to deliver storage-as-a-service. In April 2014, Abiquo launched Abiquo anyCloud, a SaaS version that lets enterprises manage public cloud resources from different providers. Security features include change-workflow approvals, an audit trail, and secure sharing of cloud accounts within teams.
