A New Trilogy
A New Trilogy is Lovelyz’s second extended play (EP). It was released on April 25, 2016, by Woollim Entertainment and distributed by LOEN Entertainment. The EP has seven tracks, including the lead single Destiny, and starts the group’s second trilogy called Love. In the weeks before the release, Woollim released teasers on April 4, a prologue video on April 19, the track list on April 21, a teaser music video on April 22, and a mini‑album preview on April 23. The Destiny music video premiered the same day as the EP. American producer Brent Fischer praised Destiny for its world‑class grooves and current arrangements, and he said he would be interested in helping Lovelyz enter the American market.
