The Sixty-ninth Minnesota Legislature met at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul from January 7, 1975, to January 3, 1977. The Senate had 67 members; the House had 134. Senate leaders were President Alec G. Olson, Majority Leader Nicholas D. Coleman, and Minority Leader Robert O. Ashbach. House leaders were Speaker Martin O. Sabo, Majority Leader Irvin N. Anderson, and Minority Leader Henry J. Savelkoul. This was the first legislature after Minnesota ended its nonpartisan election requirement, so party labels (DFL) were used. The regular session ran January 7 to May 19, 1975, with a continuation session from January 27 to April 7, 1976. No special sessions were held.
