The 2020 Jacksonville Jaguars season was the team's 26th in the NFL. It was the eighth and final season with general manager David Caldwell and the fourth and final season with head coach Doug Marrone.

The Jaguars finished 1–15, the worst record in the league, and placed 4th in the AFC South. They did not qualify for the playoffs and had no Pro Bowl players.

The team struggled from early on. After a Week 11 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville dropped to 1–9, extending a pattern of losing seasons. A Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns ended their hopes of playoff contention. They later worsened their loss total with an overtime defeat to the Minnesota Vikings.

On November 29, 2020, after starting 1–10, the Jaguars fired general manager David Caldwell. Interim general manager Trent Baalke took over.

With a Week 16 loss to the Chicago Bears and a New York Jets win that same week, the Jaguars earned the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft—their first-ever top choice. After a Week 17 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville became the fourth team in NFL history (and the second since the 16-game schedule began) to win their season opener but lose every other game.

Head coach Doug Marrone was fired on January 4, 2021, finishing his tenure in Jacksonville with a 25–44 record.

The preseason was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the regular-season schedule was released in May.
