2018 League1 Ontario – Men’s Division (short version)

The 2018 season was the fifth season of League1 Ontario, a Division 3 men’s league in Ontario. Vaughan Azzurri won both the league title and the L1 Cup, earning a spot in the 2019 Canadian Championship.

Season highlights
- Champions: Vaughan Azzurri (also L1 Cup champions)
- Regular-season leader: FC London, with 38 points from 16 games
- Top scorer: Anthony Novak (18 goals)
- Best goalkeeper: Lucas Birnstingl (0.42 GAA)
- Highest-scoring games: TFC III 10–0 Windsor; Oakville 10–0 Sanjaxx

Teams and format
- Expanded to 17 teams with the additions of Darby FC, Unionville Milliken SC, and Alliance United FC (Markham SC and Wexford SC partnership). Durham United FA and North Toronto Nitros did not return.
- All matches: 136 total, 488 goals (about 3.59 per game).
- Playoffs: The top eight teams entered playoffs, which used a group stage format and then a final between the group winners. The champion earned entry to the 2019 Canadian Championship.
- The L1 Cup: A separate knockout competition for all 17 teams, not part of the regular standings, with four rounds and a final in early August. Draws go to penalties if tied after 90 minutes.

Off-season notes
- Jim Brennan left Aurora FC to join York9 FC (Canadian Premier League).
- FC London announced its youth academy would affiliate with Toronto FC.
- An All-Star Game between League1 Ontario and the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec (PLSQ) was held on June 30, hosted by the PLSQ.
