2017 Spengler Cup
The 2017 Spengler Cup was a men’s ice hockey tournament held in Davos, Switzerland, at Vaillant Arena, from December 26 to 31, 2017. Six teams competed in two round-robin groups of three, named Torriani and Cattini after Swiss hockey legends Richard “Bibi” Torriani and the Cattini brothers, Hans and Ferdinand. A total of 11 games were played and 69 goals were scored (about 6.27 per game). Team Canada won the tournament, earning their 15th Spengler Cup title, with Team Switzerland finishing as runners-up.
