The 2017 Baltimore Ravens season was their 22nd in the NFL and the 10th with John Harbaugh as head coach. It was also Joe Flacco’s 10th year as the starting quarterback. The Ravens finished with a 9-7 record, placing second in the AFC North, but they did not make the playoffs.

Despite improving on the previous year’s 8-8 mark, the postseason hopes ended in Week 17. A late loss to the Cincinnati Bengals (31-27) combined with a Buffalo Bills win over the Miami Dolphins eliminated Baltimore.

The team had some strong moments, including a standout defensive performance in a 23-0 win at Green Bay, where the Ravens forced five turnovers. They also beat the Oakland Raiders on the road after a rough stretch, though they were upset by the Chicago Bears at home during the season.

Key players and honors:
- All-Pros: Justin Tucker (2nd team), C.J. Mosley (2nd team)

- Offensive coordinator: Marty Mornhinweg
- Defensive coordinator: Dean Pees

In short, the 2017 Ravens were strong on defense and had flashes of offense, but a late-season stumble kept them out of the playoffs.
