2008–09 Auburn Tigers women's basketball team
2008–09 Auburn Tigers women's basketball team: Coached by Nell Fortner, they played in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Tigers finished 30–4 overall and 12–2 in the SEC, winning the regular-season SEC title. They won the Florida International Tournament and the Miami Christmas Tournament, and were ranked No. 13 in the coaches poll. In the 2009 NCAA Division I women's tournament, they reached the second round. Assistant coaches were Kerry Cremeans, Mark Simons, and Ayesha Whitfield.
