2003 Rice Owls baseball team
The 2003 Rice Owls baseball team from Rice University played in NCAA Division I. They played home games at Reckling Park and were led by head coach Wayne Graham in his 12th season. The Owls won 30 straight games to start the year and finished with an overall record of 58–12, 25–5 in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). They won the WAC title and then captured the College World Series, defeating Stanford in the final series. It was Rice’s first national team championship in the school’s 91-year history.
