2002–03 AHL season
The 2002–03 AHL season was the 67th season of the American Hockey League. Twenty-eight teams each played 80 games. The Hamilton Bulldogs finished first in the regular season, but the Houston Aeros won the Calder Cup championship, beating the Bulldogs in the final.
Season awards included MVP Jason Ward and top scorer Steve Maltais. Playoffs MVP was Johan Holmqvist.
The 16th AHL All-Star Game took place on February 3, 2003, in Portland, Maine, at the Cumberland County Civic Center. Team Canada defeated Team PlanetUSA 10–7. In the skills competition held the day before, Team Canada won 15–13.
