Woodlands is a historic house near Columbia in Richland County, South Carolina. Built in 1896 by Frank Hampton Jr., this two-story wood-frame farmhouse has a cross-gable roof and decorative Classical and Folk Victorian details. The front features a large two-tier porch, and there is a detached kitchen building on the property. Woodlands was the home of Harry R. E. Hampton (1897–1980), a prominent journalist and conservationist in South Carolina. The property covers about 14.3 acres at 409 Old Woodlands Road and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 1, 2006.
