Tom Onslow-Cole
Tom Onslow-Cole is a British former racing driver from Kingston, England, born on 16 May 1987. He started in karting at eight years old and won the Renault Clio Cup UK in 2006, which helped him move to the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) in 2007 with West Surrey Racing.
In BTCC he drove for several teams, racking up 7 race wins, 5 pole positions and 13 fastest laps, with his best season finish being 4th in 2010. He had notable moments including a dramatic win at Brands Hatch in 2010 after the other driver was disqualified. Over the years he raced with Vauxhall/Opel, Team Aon, AmD Milltek, eBay Motors and Team HARD, among others, before moving away from BTCC in 2014 to focus on GT racing.
From 2014 onward, Onslow-Cole competed in GT championships. He started in British GT with an Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3, then moved to the 24H Series and the International GT Open. In 2015 he won the GT3 class of the 24H Series with Ram Racing, earning a podium at Dubai 24 Hours and a win at the inaugural 24 Hours of Paul Ricard. In 2016 he won the 24 Hours of Brno driving for Scuduri Praha and also had strong showings in other 24H Series events, plus a stint with Team Parker Racing in the Blancpain Endurance Series.
In 2017 he became a BMW factory driver for the Nürburgring 24 Hours, while also contesting VLN events and the Le Mans Cup with RAM Racing, and GT Open with SPS Automotive Performance. He continued to race in endurance events across various series, including the Le Mans Cup and GT Open, often in Mercedes-AMG GT3 machinery.
Between 2018 and 2019, Onslow-Cole won the International GT Open Pro-Am class, highlighting a successful shift from touring cars to top-level GT competition. He remains noted for his long, versatile racing career across BTCC and major GT endurance events.
