The Forum, Rome

Roberts visited Rome in the winter of 1853 and painted seven Forum scenes, including Ruins of the Roman Forum (now in Wolverhampton Art Gallery). The painting is in the Guildhall Art Gallery in London, donated by collector Charles Gassiot in 1902. Dimensions: 38 cm by 62 cm.
