TUT FM 96.2 is a campus radio station from the Tshwane University of Technology in Soshanguve, Gauteng. It mainly serves young people and students, broadcasting daily from 6:00 AM to midnight within about 50 km. The station started with a one-year licence in 1994 and was renewed under the Electronic Communications Act in 2014. It broadcasts on 96.2 FM in six languages (English, isiZulu, Sepedi, Setswana, Tshivenḓa and Xitsonga) and reaches around 50,000 listeners aged 15–35 in LSM 3–7. Programs are about 40% talk and 60% music and include local news, traffic and weather. Its studios are at No. 2 College Block L, Soshanguve South campus, about 35 km north of Pretoria CBD. Coverage includes Pretoria and nearby towns like Soshanguve, Ga-Rankuwa, Mabopane, Winterveldt, the CBD, Centurion, Hatfield and Brooklyn.
