Sharavati Bridge is a railway bridge on the Konkan Railway near Honnavar in Karnataka. It crosses the Sharavati River and was completed in 1994. At about 2,060 metres long, it is the longest bridge on the Konkan Railway and the longest railway bridge in Karnataka. The bridge has 66 spans: 55 spans of 33 metres and 11 spans of 22 metres. Its foundations use large reinforced concrete piles, and the deck is built with strong girders to support heavy trains. In 1995, it won the second prize in the National Bridge Awards for Most Outstanding Bridge (Category I) from the Indian Institute of Bridge Engineers. The bridge has undergone rehabilitation and strengthening work over the years to maintain safety.
