Philip Cahn (June 18, 1894 – September 28, 1984) was an American film editor. He worked on more than eighty films and TV series from 1930 to 1962 and directed the 1935 film I've Been Around. In 1937, with I. James Wilkinson and Ben Lewis, he helped found The Society of Motion Picture Film Editors, later renamed the Motion Picture Editors Guild in 1944. He was the brother of director Edward L. Cahn and the father of editor Dann Cahn. Born in New York City, he died in Thousand Oaks, California.
