Greg Thomas (hurler)

Greg Thomas (Irish: Gréagóir Mac Tomáis) is an Irish hurler from Castlegar, County Galway. Born on 26 February 2003, he plays forward for Castlegar in the Galway Senior Hurling Championship and for Galway at inter-county level. He came through Castlegar’s youth teams and moved to the senior club. He was part of Galway’s All-Ireland Minor Championship-winning teams in 2019 and 2020. He then played for Galway’s under-20 team and was right wing-forward in the 2021 All-Ireland final, where Cork beat Galway. He was added to the Galway senior panel in 2022 by manager Henry Shefflin.
