Giorgi Javakhia (born 24 September 1996 in Tbilisi, Georgia) is a Georgian rugby union player who plays as a flanker for Grenoble in the Pro D2 and for the Georgia national team. He began his professional career with Lyon OU, making his Pro D2 debut in 2016 after coming through Lyon’s youth system. He then played for Stade Aurillacois from 2018 to 2023 before joining Grenoble in 2023. Javakhia made his international debut for Georgia in 2019 and has earned 12 caps, scoring 5 points. With Grenoble, he has helped the team reach Pro D2 finals, though promotion to the Top 14 has not yet been achieved. In the 2024-25 season, Grenoble finished the regular season first, won the semi-final, but lost the final to Montauban and then narrowly missed promotion in the promotion playoff against Perpignan. He was named in the Pro D2 XV of the season.
