Fabrizio del Monte
Fabrizio del Monte is an Italian racing driver born on December 5, 1980, in Latina, Lazio. He held FIA Gold license until 2017, then FIA Silver (2018–2022) and FIA Bronze from 2023 onward.
Del Monte raced for three seasons in European Formula 3000 and then competed in three Champ Car events in 2005, often thanks to sponsorship.
He said he secured Midland’s third driver seat for the 2006 San Marino Grand Prix, but the deal fell through because of sponsorship problems. Giorgio Mondini replaced him. He was also expected to be Midland’s third driver for the Hungarian Grand Prix.
