Europium(III) fluoride is an inorganic compound with the formula EuF3, also called europium trifluoride. It contains europium in the +3 oxidation state and fluoride ions.

Production:
- EuF3 can be made by reacting europium(III) nitrate with ammonium fluoride: Eu(NO3)3 + 3 NH4F → EuF3 + 3 NH4NO3.
- Nanoparticles of EuF3 can be synthesized by microwaving europium(III) acetate in an ionic liquid that contains tetrafluoroborate.

Properties and identifiers:
- Chemical formula: EuF3
- Molar mass: about 208.959 g/mol
- SMILES: F[Eu](F)F

Notes:
- EuF3 nanoparticles have been studied for their structural and luminescent properties.
