Emma Keenan is a Canadian-American ice hockey defenseman who plays for Shenzhen KRS in the Chinese Women’s Ice Hockey League (WCIHL). She was born on November 26, 1997, in Mission Viejo, California, and grew up in Calgary, Alberta, giving her dual Canadian and American citizenship. She is 5’7” and shoots left.

Keenan played college hockey at Clarkson University from 2015 to 2019, helping Clarkson reach the NCAA championship games in 2017 and 2018. After college, she played for Göteborg HC in Sweden, then joined the Buffalo Beauts in the PHF in 2021, followed by the Connecticut Whale in 2022. She briefly signed with the Montreal Force in 2023, but the league folded before she played a game. She was a reserve for the Toronto PWHL team in 2023–24 and did not appear in games. In August 2024, she signed with Shenzhen KRS.

Her parents are Fiona and Kevin Keenan, and she has a brother, Ryan, and a sister, Megan.
