Ecou (Echo) is a Romanian pop song by Elena Gheorghe featuring rapper Glance, released on February 1, 2013. The track blends pop with electropop and R&B, and runs 3 minutes and 58 seconds. It was released by Roton Records and Cat Music, with Ultra in the United States. The song was written by Laurențiu Duță and Ovidiu Bistriceanu and produced by Duță. Sung entirely in Romanian, Ecou is about a woman who can’t move on from a past relationship and served as the lead single for Gheorghe’s upcoming bilingual album. A music video was made, and Gheorghe performed it on live shows and during a nationwide tour in February–March 2013. Ecou was named the best Romanian song of 2013 and was a big hit for Gheorghe and Glance.
