Ebert Field
Ebert Field is a softball field in Kalamazoo, Michigan, owned and operated by Western Michigan University. It is the home field for the Western Michigan Broncos softball team and is named after Fran Ebert, who started WMU's softball program in 1976. Location: On Oliver Street east of US 131 (Stadium Drive). The field seats about 400 fans in bleacher seating behind home plate and along the first-base side. Field dimensions are Left 200 ft, Center 220 ft, Right 200 ft, with a grass surface and an electronic scoreboard. Renovations in 2000–01 improved the dugouts, wind screens, bullpen, and batting cage areas, and added a new scoreboard.
