Brasil is the fourth album by Brazilian crossover thrash band Ratos de Porão. Released in 1989 on Roadrunner Records, the 28:53-minute record helped bring the band to the world stage. It was recorded in Berlin and produced by Harris Johns, who has worked with bands like Tankard and Exumer. The album blends hardcore and metal, making it a key example of crossover thrash. It’s available in both Portuguese and English versions, and all tracks were written by Ratos de Porão. Brasil follows Cada dia mais sujo e agressivo (1987) and precedes Anarkophobia (1991).
