Bernard Tchibambelela (14 June 1946 – 21 May 2025) was a Congolese politician, economist and public servant. He held several important positions in the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville).

From 25 September 2012 to 30 April 2016, he served as Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture under President Denis Sassou-Nguesso.

Earlier in his career, he led major institutions: Director-General of Crédit Rural du Congo (1982–1989) and Director-General of CFCO (Congo Ocean Railway) (1982–1989). He began in the ruling party, the PCT, and later joined the MCDDI in 1991, where he became a key figure. He was Economic Adviser to President Sassou Nguesso from 1989 to 1991.

As a parliamentarian, Tchibambelela was first vice-president of the National Assembly for a brief period in 1992. He later served as second vice-president of the National Assembly from 2007 to 2012. He was elected to the National Assembly as the MCDDI deputy for Mbanza-Ndounga in 2007 and was re-elected in 2012, continuing to serve in the National Assembly for many years.

He was part of the Association of Parliamentarians of the Pool and wrote a book in 2009, Le Commerce mondial de la faim, about hunger and development in Congo-Brazzaville.

Born in Brazzaville, he belonged to the Lari ethnic group. He earned degrees in economics, rural law and agronomic engineering, and worked as a banker in Congo-Brazzaville and in France. He died in Brazzaville on 21 May 2025 at age 78. He was married to Jeanne and had five children.
