Ampasy Nahampoa is a rural municipality in Madagascar, in the Taolanaro district of the Anosy region. It lies about 7 km from Fort-Dauphin along National Road 12a, at an elevation of 28 meters. The coordinates are 24°58′S, 46°59′E, and the population was around 6,000 in 2001.

Education is limited to primary schooling. The economy is mainly agricultural: about 75% of residents are farmers and 3% raise livestock. The main crops are rice, bananas, and cassava. Industry employs about 15%, services 5%, and fishing 2% of the population. The Tsitongambarika forest lies largely within the municipality.
