Alexander D. Robertson
Alexander D. Robertson (March 5, 1849 – January 2, 1921) was a farmer, merchant and politician on Prince Edward Island. He served in the Legislative Assembly representing 1st Kings from 1891 to 1897 as a Liberal. He was born in West River, East Point, PEI, the son of James Robertson and Mary Jarvis, who were of Scottish descent, and was educated locally and in Charlottetown. In 1887, he married Bertha Lydia Fraser. Robertson won a seat in an 1891 by-election after John McLean moved to the House of Commons. He was defeated when he ran for reelection in 1897.
